American sports teams are made up of some of the greatest athletes in the world, like LeBron James and Barry Bonds. Even in a business with physical specimens such as those, there were some players who were a cut above the rest. Bo Jackson was one such player. Playing both professional football for the Los Angeles Raiders as well professional baseball, Jackson did not have an offseason.
He played professional sports year round, and may have accomplished numerous great feats if not for a disastrous 1991 hip injury during the NFL season that shut down his football career for good. Before the tragedy, Jackson was known for making impossible plays almost every time he stepped on the gridiron using his all-time athleticism.
One such display on the baseball diamond had no real impact, but showed just what he was capable of. After rushing to make a catch in the outfield, Jackson found himself on a collision course with a wall. Instead of running into it, Jackson RAN UP it. It was a spectacular stunt, leaving the announcers and crowd in awe and has yet to be duplicated since.
