2008: Buffalo Bills lost to the New England Patriots 13-0 at home during the “Wind Bowl” which was remembered for field goal posts bending sideways and field goal attempts being ruined by the heavy winds in Buffalo

2003: Kansas City Chiefs RB Priest Holmes scored his 27th rushing touchdown of the season, breaking the NFL single-season record

1979: Boston Celtics superstar F Larry Bird and Los Angeles Lakers superstar G Magic Johnson faced each other for the 1st time in their historic NBA careers

1975: With 0:32 remaining, Dallas Cowboys QB Roger Staubach completed a legendary 50-yard “Hail Mary” to WR Drew Pearson in the NFC playoffs, the 1st NFL Hail Mary of all-time

1958: Indianapolis Colts QB Johnny Unitas led Baltimore over the New York Giants in the 1st-ever OT NFL Championship Game which was considered the “Greatest Game Ever Played”

1947: Chicago Cardinals defeated the Philadelphia Eagles to win their only NFL title in franchise history
