Hawks Updated Outlook: Quin Snyder Named HC - Pro Sports Outlook

The Atlanta Hawks updated Team Outlook after hiring former Utah Jazz coach Quin Snyder as the team’s new HC. Snyder, 56, replaces Nate McMillan, who was fired just five days ago. With this move, Atlanta gains a veteran Head Coach who led the Jazz to a 372-264 record in eight seasons. The hire will be a reunion for Snyder, as he spent one season as a Hawks assistant before taking the Utah position. Snyder’s contract is a five-year deal, which is expected to be in the range of $8M per year.
