After the Raiders kicker missed the XPT on Josh Jacobs’ go-ahead TD (more on that below), it looked like Philip Rivers could easily drive down the field and set them up for a Game-Winning Field Goal. However, the Raiders defense was having none of that with constant pressure, and sealed the game with a INT on 4th down.
While Kawhi carried the load in a tight 4th quarter (more on that below), it was Lou Will that got the big buckets in the final minutes that put the Clippers up for good.
With the Raiders-Chargers going back-and-forth in another classic TNF game this season, it was Josh Jacobs’ GW-TD with a minute remaining that ended up putting the Raiders up for good.
Kawhi continues to make his case for being the Best Player on the Planet with another signature performance when it matters most against a premier contender in the West.
Oakland selecting Clelin Ferrell with the fourth overall pick generated plenty of scrutiny, but the stud EDGE from Clemson is just scratching the surface on his sky-high ceiling. In a primetime division game with playoff implications on the line, Ferrell balled out in what became his coming out party on a national stage.
Jimmy Butler came out HOT against a thriving Phoenix team to show that if either of these two non-playoff teams from last year that are off to solid starts are for real, it’s the boys in South Beach.

Doc Rivers would have an argument for the best active coach in the NBA the day that Gregg Popovich retires, and especially if he is able to lead the Clippers to a title. Earning another milestone like win no. 900 is another sign of Rivers’ incredible coaching success.
Check out all of the top highlights from last night that includes LaMarcus Aldridge’s impressive performance, Dejounte Murray’s circus shot (attached below), CP3’s signature buzzer beater, a thunderous 1-handed jam, and more!

#PlayerOfTheDay Clelin Ferrell lived up to his draft billing on Thursday with a historic performance for the Raiders franchise who haven’t seen a rookie get 2.5 sacks or more in a game since 1983. Ferrell is quickly blossoming as a key building block for the Raiders going forward https://t.co/Tc2rhP4zOB
