What’s better than a walk-off Grand Slam in baseball? Absolutely nothing. It’s simply the best way to end a game possible. While this specific situation could’ve been more monumental if the A’s were down 3 at the time of the Grand Slam, and if the go-ahead run wasn’t an artificial runner due to MLB’s new rules, but this is still about as exciting as a MLB offensive highlight can be.

Yo, Welcome Back

Yoenis Cespedes has been dearly missed in the heart of the New York Mets lineup, but he re-introduced himself when it mattered most during NY’s Opening Day matchup with the Braves. In 2019, the Mets bullpen typically blew a game like this, but the relief corps held on to a Jacob deGrom-led shutout and Cespedes produced the only run of the game on this swing.

After setting the all-time single-season Home Run record in 2019, the Minnesota Twins picked up exactly where they left off with a leadoff jack off one of the best pitchers in the game. Max Kepler kept his 2020 hot streak going by adding another jack on his very next at-bat.

Luis Robert is arguably the best prospect in baseball with a future MVP ceiling and a well-earned ‘A+’ future grade before he even made a single MLB appearance. This was the first hit of what could be a 3,000+ hit type of career. Robert has that much potential.

Joe Musgrove is quickly climbing up the ranks in MLB’s pitching hierarchy as he earns the Opening Day start after just two full seasons as a Staring Pitcher. Shane Bieber Dealing

Setting a Cleveland Indians franchise record with his 14 Opening Day strikeouts, Shane Bieber showed the world once again why he’s considered a Cy Young candidate this season and earned the OD start over Mike Clevinger. The 25-year-old has a very bright future ahead of him, as he showed on Friday.
