The St. Louis Cardinals updated Team Outlook after signing 2023 Opening Day Starting Pitcher Miles Mikolas to a two-year, $40M extension. Mikolas will receive a $5M signing bonus and a $3M boost to his 2023 salary from $15.75M to $18.75M. The 34-year-old veteran will then make $16M per year in 2024 and 2025. Coming off his second career All-Star nod, Mikolas made a career-high 33 appearances, going 12-13 with a 3.29 ERA.
