Drafted ninth overall by the Toronto Raptors, DeMar DeRozen jumped right into the starting line up of a struggling Raptors team. His sophomore year he jumped from 21 to 35 MPG, and his stats followed, as he improved from 8.6 PTS to 17.2. DeRozen made his first of four All-Star games in his fifth year after averaging 22.7 PPG on 45% from the field.
With the blossoming relationship with Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozen made it to three consecutive All-Stars and three first place Eastern Conferences finishes. In 2018, DeRozen was traded to the Spurs for Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green. DeRozen continued to average above 20 PPG and had career highs in APG and RPG. Just this past offseason, DeMar DeRozen signed a three year deal to play for the Chicago Bulls, joining Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic.

DeMAR DeROZEN IS THE GREATEST RAPTORS SHOOTING GUARD OF ALL-TIME
DeMar DeRozen played nine seasons for the Raptors and was as loyal as they come, calling himself the, “sacrificial lamb,” after being traded for Kawhi Leonard, which led them to their first ever NBA Championship. The Raptors have had very talented SGs play brief stints for them, such as Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady, but none had the longevity or records that DeMar DeRozen accomplished during his time with the franchise.
DeRozen is the franchise leader in career PTS, GP, MIN, FGM and FTM. The California product was an adopted Canadian and was a big part of the most successful era in franchise history. Pair his records with four All-Star appearances and multiple first place regular season finishes in the Eastern Conference, and it becomes clear that DeMar DeRozen is the greatest Raptors SG of all-time.
