The Green Bay Packers are one of the most historically successful NFL franchises, with four Super Bowls under their belts and this could be a preview of another historic season. Their heyday was in the 1960s, but the Packers have since been an ever-present fixture in the NFL playoffs. Last season ended in heartbreak for Matt LaFleur and his players, as they crashed out to the San Francisco 49ers with a 13-10 loss. Nevertheless, the Packers became the first team to earn 13+ wins in three consecutive seasons, so it wasn’t all bad.
Few other NFL franchises will be so fired up for the season ahead, especially as the Packers managed to keep hold of their talismanic quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He is a four-time NFL MVP and is second on the NFL’s all-time regular-season career passing ratings. Packers fans were nervous that Rodgers would leave after a lengthy contract dispute, but he chose to stay after being awarded a bumper $150.8 million contract.
There is no denying this will be important to the Packers in their upcoming season. Rodgers is more capable of leading an exciting offense to glory with his passing precision and intelligence. Who knows? He may even pick up a fifth NFL MVP award.
Several new additions have boosted Green Bay Packers new season outlook. They had two first-round NFL Draft picks this year, putting them in a great position to snap up new and exciting talent coming through the ranks. Defensive linemen Devonte Wyatt and linebacker Quay Walker were snapped up from Georgia’s national title team, so we should be seeing an even sturdier Packers defense than last year.

One high-profile loss the Packers will have to deal with in 2022 is that of Davante Adams. He was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in March after concerns over Aaron Rodgers’ career longevity. Nevertheless, the Packers have played seven games without Adams since 2019 and won them all, so fans shouldn’t be too worried.
