After a stellar two years at the University of Pittsburgh, WR Larry Fitzgerald was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals with the third overall selection in the 2004 NFL Draft. He has had an illustrious career playing professional football, being named to 11 Pro Bowls and earning 1st-Team All-Pro honors in 2008. Having spent a whopping 17 seasons in Arizona, Fitzgerald has certainly established himself as the greatest player in Cardinals history.

LARRY FITZGERALD IS BY FAR THE GREATEST CARDINALS PLAYER OF ALL TIME

Larry Fitzgerald was a highly touted prospect coming into the NFL after two phenomenal seasons at the University of Pittsburgh, and he definitely lived up to the hype. In just his second season, he led the NFL in receptions with 103 while recording 1,409 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. Fitz would go on to catch over 100 balls four more times, including three straight seasons from 2015 to 2017, and he also led the league in touchdown receptions twice.

Larry Legend quickly climbed the Cardinals rankings with his sure hands and consistent production. After 17 stellar seasons with the team, he currently holds franchise records in nearly every major receiving category, including production in the postseason as well. Given his toughness, durability, and incredible catching ability, Fitzgerald is already well-known as one of the best receivers in NFL history and will go down as the greatest Cardinals player of all time as well.
