The football action continues as the NFL enters its second week of the season with more teams beginning to allow fans into stadiums. Tom Brady and the Bucs bounced back after their Week 1 loss to the Saints, the Cowboys pulled off an improbable comeback after trailing big to the Falcons, and Seattle made a game-sealing goal line stand to stop the Pats comeback attempt on SNF.

The Cowboys pulled off an incredible comeback against the Falcons after being down by as many as 19 points.

QB Dak Prescott played a major role in the Cowboys’ comeback, becoming the first player in NFL history to throw for over 400 yds and rush for 3 TDs.

Despite giving up a huge lead, the Falcons did have at least one bright spot: WR Calvin Ridley, who caught 2 of Matt Ryan’s 4 TD passes in the game:

Sunday Night Football between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks certainly did not disappoint, coming down to the final play of the game. With :03 left from the Seattle two-yard line, down 35-30, the Seahawks’ defense made a huge stop, stuffing Cam Newton for no gain, securing the huge inter-conference dub.

Russell Wilson had another huge game, throwing for 288 yds and 5 TDs, furthering his case for NFL MVP early in the season:

Despite losing on a game-ending FG in OT, the Los Angeles Chargers held their own against the reigning champs. Clutch down the stretch, K Harrison Butker nailed a 30-yd FG to send the game to OT as well as a 58-yd FG in OT after his first attempt was called back due to an offsides penalty and his second attempt was called off after the Chargers took a last-second TO to try to ice him.

2020 6th overall pick QB Justin Herbert made his NFL debut for the Chargers after Tyrod Taylor got injured and showed that he is capable of overtaking the starting job, throwing for 311 yds, 1 TD and rushing for a score.

Clutch is Patrick Mahomes’ middle name, as he comes back from double-digit deficits like its his job, setting an NFL record with six straight wins in epic comeback fashion.

Even though the Miami Dolphins are 0-2, they’ve been extremely competitive against the two leaders in the AFC East, however, they came up short in consecutive weeks after Josh Allen put the game away with a couple clutch plays that capped off a career day

Allen added this dime earlier in the game as well as a monster run that showed his ferociousness as a competitor.

The Titans and the Jaguars battled it out all the way to the end. Titians K Stephen Gostkowski came through in the clutch for the second consecutive week, kicking a 49-yd FG with under two minutes to play while Harold Landry sealed the deal with a game-ending INT to preserve the win for the Titans.

The Baltimore Ravens and their stout defense created two spectacular turnovers to help secure the win in Houston.

RB Mark Ingram scored the dagger as he made the Texans’ defense look silly on this direct snap on 4th and 1, picking up an easy 6 points as John Harbaugh’s aggressive nature put the game out of reach.

The 49ers’ dangerous running game proved to be too much for the Jets’ defense. On their first play from scrimmage, RB Raheem Mostert turned on the jets and took it to the house on an 80-yard TD run.

Jerrick McKinnon added to the attack with an impressive run on 3rd and 31 to pick up the first down and later added a score:

For his first NFL TD, Steelers rookie WR Chase Claypool found the end zone in a big way on this 84-yard dime from Big Ben.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray’s momentum from last week’s big win in SF carried into this week as the young star led his team to a 2-0 record after beating the Washington Football Team. Murray showed off his dual threat capabilities, scoring through the air as well as on the ground.

Despite his short stature, Murray showed off his cannon of an arm on this beautiful pass to Christian Kirk:

Before this season, Tom Brady was the only professional QB the Super Bowl LIII MVP ever really knew behind center. However, the new connection with Cam is already working its magic as Edelman racked up a career-high 161 receiving yards through a couple of highlight catches on primetime.

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones ran for a career-high 168 yards on Sunday, running for two scores and an additional one through the air, including this 75-yd TD where Jones celebrated with a Lambeau Leap unlike any other; one without a single fan around him.

Rams TE Tyler Higbee had himself a career game against the Eagles with a 3 TD performance.

Tom Brady found Mike Evans early and often, including a score to keep the Bucs’ offense rolling.

A 2020 breakout TE candidate, Mike Gesicki showed the world what he’s capable of on Sunday with this ridiculous one-handed snag on a ball thrown behind him to get the first down while Chicago’s OL lucked into this 4th down conversion off the deflection.
