It was a week of comebacks and close games, as several teams either won in the waning minutes or gave up major leads after seeming to have things under wraps. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers had another vintage performance in a shootout against the Saints on SNF, Seahawks QB Russell Wilson put up another colossal game to further his case for MVP, Bills QB Josh Allen submitted an elite-level performance against a hard-nosed Rams defense, Nick Foles came in relief again and led his team to victory in comeback fashion against the Falcons who found a way to blow a 15-point fourth quarter lead once again.

The Bears switched up at QB during the game, benching Mitch Trubisky for Nick Foles who had himself a day. Throwing for 188 yards and 3 TDs in the second half, Foles did what he does best and showed up big-time off the bench, leading the Bears to a come-from-behind win after trailing by 16 points to the Falcons.

Week 3’s edition of Sunday Night Football was a classic shootout as Aaron Rodgers and the Packers squared off against Drew Brees and the Saints in the Superdome. Coming into the game after steamrolling their first two opponents, the Packers looked to stay hot against a Saints team that was hungry for a win after a disappointing loss in Week 2. It came down to the final drive as the Packers prevailed, 37-30, to improve to 3-0 while the Saints fall to 1-2.

Rodgers even slipped in a no-look pass!

RB Alvin Kamara had himself a big game, finishing with 197 total yds and 2 TDs.

In the most hyped-up matchup of the season, the Baltimore Ravens didn’t show up at home against the reigning champs where Mahomes and the Chiefs put on a show thanks to their MVP QB’s spectacular play from the pocket.

Currently the front-runner for NFL MVP, Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson continues to absolutely shred every defense he faces. Wilson dominated once again against the Dallas Cowboys, throwing for 315 yds and 5 TDs. Tyler Lockett was his favorite receiver, catching 9 passes for 100 yards and three TDs.

Russ would’ve had 6 TD passes if Metcalf hustled into the endzone instead of letting Dallas’ rookie corner make a great effort play to force a turnover.

Dak Prescott and the Cowboys didn’t make it easy for them, however, throwing for 472 yds and 3 TDs.

The biggest play of the game though was Dak’s game-sealing INT during Dallas’ potential game-winning drive.

Bills QB Josh Allen continues to show critics why he deserves to be mentioned amongst the elite QBs of the NFL, throwing for 311 yds and 4 TD and rushed for one, including leading a comeback on the final drive of the game after the Bills blew a 28-3 lead. It was a game Allen will never forget and certainly helps his case to be considered amongst the elites.

With Zack Moss out, Devin Singletary took full advantage of being the workhorse back, showing off a nasty 1-cut move that embarrassed the defender.

While their defense couldn’t stop the Vikings’ aerial or ground game, the Titans hung tough and were able to hang on for the narrow victory. RB Derrick Henry carried the offense, scoring twice while K Stephen Gostkowski continued his clutch kicking with 6 made FGs on the day.

While the Minnesota Vikings’ offense seemed to return to form in Week 3, their defense couldn’t stop the Titans’ offense and suffered a crushing 31-30 loss to drop to 0-3. On the bright side, rookie WR Justin Jefferson showed everyone that he is more than capable of being a WR2 behind Adam Thielen, while Dalvin Cook and Kirk Cousins also looked impressive at times.

Coming into this season, many did not take the Detroit Lions very seriously and expected them to falter at every step, and two weeks into the season it sure seemed like that would come true. The Lions, however, did everything in their power to not fall to 0-3 and were able to pull off an upset in Arizona. Their defense forced three Kyler Murray INTs and were able to set up the game-winning field goal for K Matt Prater.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray showed off his talents again against the Lions, tossing two TDs and swerving his way through the defense on a nice rush TD.

Carson Wentz is off to a disappointing season in 2020, but showed some promise when it mattered most on Sunday by using his legs for the game-tying score and dropping a dime in OT that could’ve set up the GW-FG.

As they continue to rebuild, the Cincinnati Bengals seemingly found their QB and WR of the future in the 2020 NFL Draft as rookies Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins connected twice in the end zone.

As they continue to transform into a run-first offense, the New England Patriots are finding their way with two steady RBs behind their mobile QB. The Patriots did a magnificent job controlling the tempo of the game on the ground with their RB duo Sony Michel and Rex Burkhead. Burkhead, the long-time Patriots RB known for his crucial short-yardage scores, scored three times while Michel put his RB1 talents on display to keep the Patriots ahead of the sticks.

The Cleveland Browns’ duo rushing attack might be the best in the NFL as they continue to dominate opponents week after week. Their offense capitalized on several Washington turnovers which helped them cruise to a 34-20 win.

Kareem Hunt put his receiving skills on display with this nice one-handed grab.

The New York Jets never had a glimmer of hope to beat the Indianapolis Colts as they were absolutely shellacked in an embarrassingly lopsided game. The Colts defense dominated the entire game, forcing three turnovers and holding the Jets to just a single TD.

Philip Rivers also made history by becoming the sixth player ever to throw his 400th career TD pass.

In a vintage performance, Bucs QB Tom Brady was throwing it all over the field in a near 300-YD/3-TD outing in Mile High Stadium against a Broncos team led by an inexperienced QB.

TB12 got some help from his defense as well with a safety forced by Shaq Barrett and a goal line 1-handed INT for Edwards’ first career NFL interception.

The Pittsburgh Steelers overcame a halftime deficit to take down the Texans, who seem to just not be able to hold onto a lead.

In Julio Jones’ absence, fellow Alabama alumnus Calvin Ridley showed everyone why Julio isn’t the only highly-talented receiver on their team as he filled in for his counterpart nicely, catching 5 passes for 110 yards.

Ravens 2020 3rd Rd pick WR Devin Duvernay showed off his kick returning skills and took this kick-off to the house for six, scoring the only KR-TD of the 2020 season thus far.
