The Astros were down to their final out in the 9th inning until George Springer delivered a clutch 2-run shot to take the lead entering the final half inning of the game. That’s when Jason Castro returned the favor to take it into extra innings where Matt Herosillo became the hero for walking it off.

The Baltimore Orioles are now 4-3, owning the second best record in the AL East. Will this last? Probably not. But enjoy the Orioles winning while it’s happening, especially when it comes in dramatic fashion like this one.

The Orioles and Angels had the benefit of scoring their game-winning runs in the bottom half of the inning in their home ballpark, but the A’s managed to come away with an extra innings victory as well, except they did so in the confines of T-Mobile Park in Seattle, WA.

The Chicago White Sox have a STACKED lineup, led by reigning batting champion Tim Anderson. However, the two players with the highest ceilings in the young lineup are Luis Robert and Eloy Jimenez, who both showed why they have MVP potential one day with dominant performances like these.

Gio Urshela was rated as a negative defender by UZR and DRS last year, despite making highlight defensive plays like this. Now that he’s officially taken over the hot corner from Miguel Andujar, he’s continuing to make impressive throws on the field, and deliver big hits at the plate.

The Mariners middle infield made it look easy on this difficult double play.

Nolan Arenado is one of the best defenders in baseball as he consistently makes great plays (See: last night). This night was no difference as he showed off his range by snagging this foul ball way out of his territory.

Luke Weaver got drilled by the red-hot Corey Seager, but recovered incredibly well to make this highlight reel out with his glove hand.

Tyler Chatwood and Kenta Maeda are far from household names, but they were the best pitchers to take the hill on Saturday as they combined for 12.2 IP, 0 ER, 4 H, 17 K, 3 BB, and each picked up the win.

Not necessarily a top highlight, but whenever Zack Greinke whips out a sub-70 MPH eephus pitch to ring up someone, it warrants a spot on the top highlights list.

Full game highlights of today’s close games will be posted here once they conclude.
