The San Diego Padres updated Team Outlook after finalizing an 11-year, $350M contract extension with superstar 3B Manny Machado. The 30-year-old Machado is coming off arguably the best season of his career, hitting .298/.366/.531 with 32 home runs and 102 RBIs. He also finished second in National League MVP voting and led the Padres to the National League Championship Series. The deal contains no no opt-outs and Machado’s extension is the fourth largest deal in MLB history.
