Sunday marked the healthiest Miami’s roster has looked all series long with Goran Dragic re-entering the rotation, but their efforts were negated by a LA Laker team playing at their peak. LBJ’s triple-double devastated the Heat’s hopes of a Game 7, Anthony Davis took over with authority, and Rajon Rondo put on the spin cycle. Despite departing from Orlando without the Larry O’Brien Trophy, Bam Adebayo went out with a bang as he hit on one-last lob opportunity to seal his appearance in the 2019-20 NBA season’s final highlight reel.

As the all-time NBA Finals leader in recorded triple-doubles (11), father time’s biggest nemesis LeBron James bombarded the Heat with highly efficient takes to the hole on the end of magnificent maneuvers which unanimously awarded him the Bill Russell Finals MVP trophy.

Overcome with emotion during his team’s celebration, Anthony Davis was laser-focused during Game 6 as he mucked up the Heat’s defense by firmly laying down the law of how he intended to operate underneath with an offering of physically imposing dunks.

Getting it done on both sides of the floor was 7x All-Star Anthony Davis who defended the tin as if his life depended on it as he collected punishing blocks such as this one which led to a remarkable and-one from teammate KCP in transition.

Big man Bam Adebayo certainly knows how to get a game underway as he soars above the towering Anthony Davis to tuck away a message-sending alley-oop which inked Miami’s first points of what would be their last game of the season.

An overachieving Rajon Rondo stayed consistent with his overall outstanding contributions as he used fancy footwork to dance past Bam Adebayo en route to a clever scoop lay-in using his off-hand as he racked up 19 points off the bench.

The Lakers will be heading home to Los Angeles with hardware in hand after a glorious postseason campaign. Now crowned a 4x NBA Champion and 4x Finals MVP, King James guided the storied Lakers franchise to its 17th banner, tying Boston for the most in history to officially close the curtains on this unique Bubble edition of the NBA with the King back on his throne.
