The wonderboy Most Improved Player of the Year candidate has not only improved this season, but has instantly blossomed into one of the best players in the entire league before even turning 22 years old. Saturday’s matchup against the Greek Freak could be a sneak peak into the best international rivalry the NBA has ever seen and one that defines the 2020s.

The Denver Nuggets are still missing Gary Harris and Will Barton while the Utah Jazz continue to play without Bojan Bogdanovic. The two West contenders ended up entangled in the best game of the bubble so far that featured some heroic shots from Donovan Mitchell, a complete takeover by Jokic and Murray down the stretch, and an overall great display of basketball at the highest level.

One of the most clutch players in the NBA failed to get it done this time around which caused some social media jarring, but the real recognition should be paid to Rodney McGruder who stepped up when the Clippers needed it most on Saturday to help LA get one step closer to sealing the No.2 seed in the West.

When predicting the breakout player of the bubble, PSO suggested guys like Tyler Herro and Seth Curry who could realistically outperform expectations in Orlando, but few people saw this kind of improvement coming from 26-year-old TJ Warren after six years in the league. Warren has truly been the breakout player of the bubble and has Indiana thinking they can go toe-to-toe with any of the flawed squads in the East.

While Booker isn’t scoring as well as TJ Warren, his play in Orlando might be even more impressive as he’s leading the team with the worst playoff odds entering the restart to a perfect 5-0 record as they continue to stay hot and boost their resume for a potential play-in game to clinch their first postseason appearance in a decade

Luka Doncic was the star of the show on Saturday, but Kristaps Porzingis made his presence felt as well with some thunderous jams and an impressive 26-point, 11-rebound game against the top team in the league.

The Greek Freak came up short on Saturday as the Bucks fell to the Mavs in OT, but the soon-to-be 2x MVP was still able to show his dominance and how unstoppable he is, especially when he’s whipping out euro-steps like this that are simply unguardable.

Andre Iguodala showed on Saturday he can still pull off some crafty moves when given the opportunity as he schooled rookie Cam Johnson by unleashing this behind-the-back move to get right to the rim.

Full game highlights of today’s close games will be posted here once they conclude.
