Sunday afternoon’s premier NBA Playoff action was everything fans could have asked for and more. The comeback crew, formerly known as the Denver Nuggets, were on the ropes about to get knocked out by the Clippers’ Cali kids Kawhi Leonard and PG-13 but they didn’t give up in the face of adversity. To overcome improbable odds, Nikola Jokic and company stormed back to outscore L.A. 64-35 in the second half to force their second Game 7 of this postseason.

Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets seem to thrive when down by large deficits as they’ve built some monumental comebacks in these playoffs, but perhaps no better than this one. The Joker’s vast array of talent is a big takeaway from Sunday as he joyfully popped in tough shots, passed to open teammates, and chased down rebounds.

Late in the third, the Nuggets were mounting their incredible comeback and Jamal Murray was at the forefront of the movement. On this slick play, lockdown defender Paul George thought he had Murray bottled up, but JM slithered his way past PG for the bouncy two-handed jam.

Nikola Jokic aired out his entire arsenal of tricks on Sunday as he transformed into a human flamingo with a pair of off-balanced one-legged jump shots to make his case for being the most offensively inclined big man in the league.

Jamal Murray wasn’t on the lookout for thieves on the court while Kawhi Leonard put his pick-pocketing skills to the test by ripping the rock from Murray en route to seeking out his fellow LA teammate PG-13 for the physical and-one conversion.

Despite the unintended contact on the way down from this athletic top-shelf stuff, Paul George got all ball as he precisely rotated over for help defense on Murray’s left-handed scoop which was denied access to the rim this time around.

Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals didn’t disappoint with the Denver Nuggets showing immense resiliency against the L.A. Clippers as they came back to win their second straight game after being down 16+ points. The ensuing Game 7 is Denver’s second winner-take-all game of 2020 and gives them the chance to be the first team ever to win two Game 7s in the same postseason and overcome two different 3-1 deficits.
