Thursday’s postseason NBA action delivered the highly anticipated sequels to the upsets of the No. 1 seeded Bucks and Lakers. Fueled by Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee corrected their course with a thumping win over Orlando and the Lakeshow got back on track with a sizable victory over Portland. More of the same from Game 1 was the case for No. 5 seeds Houston and Miami as they trounced their opponents. And a plethora of spectacular slams served as the whipped cream on top for the day’s top of the line clips.

The Greek Freak responded to a Game 1 loss as he posted a freakish 28 point, 20 rebound, and 5 assist stat line, putting him alongside Kareem-Abdul Jabbar as the only Bucks to achieve such a playoff feat.

Prior to this series, Anthony Davis has been hit-or-miss in the bubble, but Thursday night will go down as a clear hit. He posted 31 points and 11 boards with imposing interior play and a few nice three-point missiles to capsize the Trail Blazers who lacked their usual offensive zest.

Duncan Robinson was an absolute flamethrower against Indiana, and he stayed locked in from start to finish beginning the game on three-straight triples in the first two minutes. He would go on to lead Miami in scoring and make a franchise record-tying seven three-pointers.

Unlike teammate Duncan Robinson, Jimmy Butler isn’t amongst the most elite strokers in the NBA, but since the playoffs started he’s revealed an uncanny ability to casually sink tough off-balance jump shots from various distances.

A handful of games removed from a career-high night, Austin Rivers rocked the boat versus the Thunder with this aggressive driving dunk which helped shift momentum in Houston’s favor.

Playing against his former team OKC, James Harden was a smooth operator as he not only added points to his scoreline but also some savvy assists, such as this fluid snatch-back –> bullet pass to find RoCo on a well-executed cut.

Typically known for his flammable offensive game, Kelly Olynyk instead gave a taste test of his shot-blocking talents as he vetoed Doug McDermott’s put-in from close range to help spur his squad toward their second win.

Milwaukee’s second man in command during Game 2, Brook Lopez looked sharp and hit on all cylinders including on this thunderous poster of a slam dunk to assist his Bucks to even up the series.
