It was a night to remember for Steph Curry in the Chase Center. The star guard dropped 53 points on 10-18 shooting from deep in their home defeat of Denver. Not only did he have an impressive stat-line, but he passed Wilt Chamberlain (17,783) for the most points ever in Warriors franchise history, needing 19 points entering the night to do so and accomplishing the feat in the first quarter.

STEPH CURRY IS CEMENTED AS THE GREATEST PLAYER IN WARRIORS HISTORY

COLORS KEY | FULL WARRIORS OUTLOOK

Chef Curry is already solidified as the greatest shooter to ever live, but he has now officially earned himself a new title: Greatest Warriors player ever. Chamberlain is a legendary player and one of the best all-time, but Curry has done more for this franchise than any player ever. He brought home three championships, and the first for the team since 1975, while Chamberlain won none for the franchise and some could argue he’s more known for his stops in Los Angeles or Philadelphia.

The baby-faced assassin has spent his entire career in Golden State and has changed the entire game throughout his time there. He made the three-point shot more popular and revived a fanbase in the San Francisco bay area. He’s been undeniably impactful to this organization, and deserves a lot of credit for the respect they have today as a franchise. Curry has surely established himself as the best to ever put on a Warriors jersey and now has the points to prove it.
