As Utah Jazz fans celebrate Jordan Clarkson on his 30th birthday, check out some of the best records to know about the 2020-21 Sixth Man of the Year!

Jordan Clarkson was the 46th pick of the 2014 NBA Draft and exceeded stereotypical second-rounder expectations from the start. Clarkson was selected out of Missouri by the Washington Wizards but was traded to the Lakers nearly two months after. He has had many pit stops in his NBA career, but found success in Utah, with many impressive highlights, stats, and records to show for it.

The Florida native played two seasons with Tulsa, before transferring to Missouri, where he became second-team all-conference. The 6’5 guard started every game for Missouri and averaged north of 17 points per game, which brought appropriate attention from NBA scouts. Clarkson began his NBA career on the right note, earning 2015 All-Rookie Team honors alongside a young nucleus for the Lake show.

After four seasons with the Lakers, he was traded to Cleveland in 2017-18. Clarkson spent three seasons with the Cavaliers before being traded to the Utah Jazz in 2019-20. The Jazz have properly utilized Clarkson’s attributes, and it is safe to say that the 2020-21 sixth man of the year has made an impact in Utah after being rewarded with a four-year, $51 million contract in 2020! His playmaking and strong shooting off the bench has sparked big runs and given the Jazz a huge advantage when the non-starters are on the court.
