Here is the best from July 22, 2019:

The Twins turned 3 on the New York Yankees with the good ol’ fashion 5-4-3 TP.

Goldschmidt hasn’t exactly lived up to expectations so far this year, batting .248/.335/.424 on the season after signing the largest contract in St. Louis Cardinals franchise history (5y/$130M). His towering shot with the bases juiced in extra innings may have restored faith from the STL fan base.

Eduardo Suarez was having a 0-3 day.. until the 7th inning with 2 outs, down 2-1, when he cranked a 2-run shot to take the lead. That wasn’t even his biggest hit of the night. July 22, 2019 will be remembered in his life for the 9th inning go-ahead bomb he drilled with Cincy’s back on the wall, facing their final out, and earning Player of the Day (more below).

After yesterday’s game-tying Gram Slam, Saladino followed that up with another 1. This time, they were down 3 in the 8th inning where the Brewers had only a 7% chance to win earlier in the inning. Despite Saladino’s heroics, it was Suarez’ clutch swing later on that ended up getting the job done in this one.

Alavarez started off his night by tying Albert Pujols record for most RBIs in a player’s 1st 30 career games with a monster HR. He then followed that up with an oppo-RBI double to own the record himself.

On Appollo 11 night in Houston (50-year anniversary of man landing on the moon), Cole struck out the perfect amount of batters, while passing Chris Sale for the least IP to reach 200 Ks in the AL.

The ‘Comeback Kids’ did it again, using a 3-run 8th to fuel a 16th victory in their last 19 games.
