Here is the best from October 29, 2019:

While the Nats held a 3-2 lead thanks to Eaton & Soto’s 5th inning HRs, the game looked like it was about to get broken open when the Nats had two runners in scoring position with no outs, and the heart of the lineup coming up in the 7th. However, a questionable interference call at 1B mitigated the damage and appeared to open the game up for Houston to come back and claim their second Championship in three years. Instead, Anthony Rendon delivered the biggest HR of the year that made what could be a season-altering statement: BALL DON’T LIE!

While Anthony Rendon earned Player of the Day honors with his 5 RBI’s, Stephen Strasburg wasn’t far behind thanks to his masterful Game 6 start. The control of his pitches after the 1st inning allowed him to go deep in the ballgame and empower Davey Martinez with ALL hands on deck in Game 7.

Anthony Davis had his first signature game in a Lakers uniform, and it put AD in the same category as some Laker legends.

It’s hard to believe Juan Soto just became legally old enough to drink his first adult beverage. The man has a rare combination of charisma, superstar talent, and excitement that could make him not only the new face of the Washington Nationals, but the next face of the entire MLB.

After already being placed on the IR, Aqib Talib’s 2019 season is essentially over, but the Rams created $4.2M in cap space that can be carried over to next season by shipping him to Miami where the Dolphins upgrade their 7th round pick into a 5th round selection.

A dark horse for ROY, Tyler Herro has gotten off to a red hot start to the season. Even with Jimmy Butler making his Miami Heat debut, Tyler Herro stole the headlines with his phenomenal performance, even if fellow rookie Cam Reddish dropped the hammer on him.

After a season-long holdout, Trent Williams decided to finally report to the Redskins facility, although it’s unclear if he’ll play anytime soon. This is an ongoing situation that will likely result in Williams wearing another team’s uniform before Free Agency kicks off in March.

3 major names in sports made the headlines for injuries on Tuesday. Trae Young suffered an ankle injury that looked brutal at first, but reports have him out for at most 2 weeks. CB Xavien Howard and QB Joe Flacco aren’t as lucky as they’ve been placed on IR and will miss the rest of 2019.

It looks like the Andy Dalton era is officially over in Houston, and Cincinnati will now see if Ryan Finley has potential to be “the guy” before zeroing in on drafting a Quarterback early next April.

The Falcons & Patriots have been on completely different tracks since the 2nd half of Super Bowl 51. However, on Tuesday they both got rid of a struggling kicker and brought a new one on board to try to ease their kicking dilemmas.
