The biggest story from Tuesday was the New York Giants announcing they would move on from 18-year Quarterback Eli Manning, and will start 6th overall pick Daniel Jones.
The Giants are turning to rookie QB Daniel Jones, who will replace long-time starter Eli Manning.
Since Week 11 of 2004, Manning’s 232 starts are most in the NFL among quarterbacks.
Yu Darvish can’t stop ringing guys up. He went from being Chicago’s worst pitcher to now being arguably their best as the only Cub with over 155 SOs in 2019 (217).
This isn’t a flashback to the 70’s. Its Carl Yastrzemski’s grandson, Mike, who hit the 20th HR of his rookie season in his grandfather’s old stomping grounds.
Justin Verlander’s 2019 season has been one of his most excellent seasons ever, which is saying something. If it wasn’t for his teammate Gerrit Cole, Verlander would run away with the Cy Young award unanimously.
#PlayerOfTheDay Cavan Biggio went for the 3rd cycle EVER in Toronto Blue Jays franchise history capped off with a 2-run triple in the 9th. Along with his HOF father, Craig, the Biggio’s became the 2nd father-son duo to both hit for cycles in their careers https://t.co/bQ99Re7XaU
