Milwaukee Bucks surprisingly swept the Miami Heat after barely winning Game 1 in OT
The Milwaukee Bucks became the first team to advance to the second round this postseason after dispatching the Miami Heat in four games. Trailing by seven at the break, Milwaukee dominated the second half of Game 4 en route to another convincing victory on Saturday, this time by the score of 120-103.
A rematch from last years’ postseason bubble that saw the Heat upset the NBA-best Bucks in five games was a total mismatch this season. After a tight 109-107 OT victory in Game 1, Milwaukee dominated the defending Eastern Conference champions the rest of the way, winning by 34, 29, and 17 points, respectively, in Games 2-4.
Brook Lopez led the team in scoring with 25 points, while the Bucks got another outstanding performance from Bryn Forbes, who tied his playoff career-high set in Game 2 with 22 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo was his usual dominant self, stuffing the stat sheet with a 20-point, 15-assist, 12-rebound triple-double, while Khris Middleton finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds. With the team looking as dangerous as ever, Milwaukee will get a chance to rest up for a week as it awaits the winner of the Nets-Celtics series.
