The Minnesota Timberwolves updated Team Outlook after adding G Mike Conley, G Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and three second-round draft picks. In this three-team trade with the Lakers and Jazz, Minnesota gave up G D’Angelo Russell, who they acquired in 2020 in exchange for former No. 1 overall pick F Andrew Wiggins. The trade will reunite Conley with C Rudy Gobert, as the two were together in Utah for the past three seasons. Conley, 35, is averaging a career-low 10.7 points per game yet has countered that by producing a career-high 7.7 assists per game.
