April 14th, 2021 was remembered for Carlos Rodon’s near-Perfect Game that concluded as a no-hitter after he hit Roberto Perez with an 0-2 slider as he tried to get his 26th consecutive out. Rodon’s no-hitter is especially notable considering he’s the first player ever to record a no-no within just two years of undergoing Tommy John surgery. Jose Abreu also made a great play to preserve the hitless game right before the Perez HBP.
Luka Doncic’s absurd GW-3PM would’ve been the top story on almost any other day in sports while Steph was closing in on the all-time single-game 3PM record after a sensational 25-point 3rd quarter but Steve Kerr forced Curry to sit out the fourth quarter of a blowout victory over OKC. Reggie Jackson clutched up for the Clippers with the game-tying 3PM and the GW-FG against his old team in Detroit. Cleveland signed EDGE Jadeveon Clowney, Yadier Molina became the first player to catch 2,000 games with one franchise, and Bo Bichette walked off the Yankees.
