April 29th, 2021 was highlighted by a NFL Draft 1st Round for the books with plenty of interesting storylines. Trey Lance was the guy San Francisco traded up for at No.3 overall, causing Fields and Jones to fall where Chicago traded up for Fields and Jones fell right to New England at No. 15. Philly traded with Dallas above New York to get the Heisman WR DeVonta Smith, as one of the many CFB reunions on NFL teams (Chase with Burrow, Waddle with Tua, Etienne with Lawrence, and Smith with Hurts). Kevin Porter Jr. also dropped 50 while KD had the best game of his Brooklyn Nets career.
