December 5th, 2021 was remembered by the Lions winning their first game of the season (now 1-10-1) on a last-second GW-TD by Jared Goff. The Ravens vs. Steelers lived up to the hype but Baltimore’s ballsy decision to go for 2 at the end cost them the win at Pittsburgh. Cincinnati almost made a historic comeback against the Chargers but they made costly mistakes. Tom Brady’s Bucs set records during their win against Atlanta, Seahawks-49ers came down to the wire, and WFT won their fourth straight after a GW-FG.

Eagles kept their undefeated record against the Jets (12-0 all-time) alive as Gardner Minshew looked good in his Philly debut. Cooper Kupp is on another level this year, Daniel Sorensen’s dagger INT-TD sealed the Chiefs’ fifth straight win, and Jonathan Taylor is having one of the best seasons ever. Jaylen Waddle and Azeez Ojulari broke rookie records in the Dolphins win over the Giants, Pittsburgh declined Devin Bush’s option, and the Panthers surprisingly fired OC Joe Brady.

Atlanta Hawks PF John Collins added another body to his growing collection of posters on Sunday while the Stifle Tower threw down a monster dunk all over the ‘Fro. Fred VanVleet added a fancy bucket vs. DC to the NBA top plays of the day plus the Houston Rockets are on a winning streak that has never been seen before in the history of professional sports.

See what happened in sports on December 5th last year, headlined by LeGarrette Blount announcing his retirement on his 34th birthday as well as what happened in sports on December 5th, 2019 ft. Jaxson Hayes catching a BODY in an insane highlight and Mitch Trubisky balling out against the Cowboys.
