May 14th, 2021 was highlighted by the 2020-21 NBA season coming down to the wire with many playoff spots still up for grabs. The Warriors and Grizzlies surprisingly decided to rest their players with both teams tied for the No.8 seed yet Jordan Poole (career-high 38 points) and Justise Winslow stepped up to pick up close wins and keep them tied entering the final game of the year. Nikola Jokic tied the Nuggets single-season triple-double record while Luka has the 2nd most triple-dubs through two seasons ever.

Russell Westbrook had another ridiculous game facilitating the basketball without Bradley Beal as DC clinched the final play-in spot with all 20 teams in the new field now concrete. Jarred Kelenic had a big night with his first career hit/HR after making his debut 24 hours beforehand, the Denver Broncos released RT Ja’Wuan James after his Achilles injury, while the Rays and Pirates both walked it off on Friday.
