October 6, 2022 in sports was highlighted by an ugly 12-9 overtime win for the Indianapolis Colts on TNF against the Denver Broncos. Both offenses committed two turnovers apiece, with Matt Ryan becoming the all-time fumble leader (11) through five games of a season in NFL history. Neither team scored a touchdown in the game, with Russel; Wilson failing to score the potential game-winner on 4th and 1. The New York Giants signed 3-time Pro Bowler S Landon Collins to a one-year deal and John Collins threw down a nasty preseason poster dunk.
