October 13th, 2020 was highlighted by a rare Tuesday Night Football game due to the unique circumstances that come from 2020 as the undefeated Titans blew out the previously unbeaten Bills. Perhaps, more memorable was the Dodgers near comeback in NLCS Game 2 as the Atlanta Braves almost a blew a 7-0 lead that came down to the final out as ATL took a 2-0 lead while the Tampa Rays are now up 3-0 after beating the reigning AL champs for the third straight game.

The biggest story of the day however, was the New York Jets finally pulling the plug and releasing Pro Bowl RB Le’Veon Bell. Check out everything that happened in sports on October 13th last year and the Best in Sports from exactly a year ago, headlined by Carlos Correa’s walk-off HR in the ALCS.

This daily sports article includes real headlines only (no clickbait rumors), all of the best highlights, interesting facts from around the NFL, NBA, & MLB, the main games to watch, top performances of the day, significant birthdays, and a quick recap of notable events on this day in sports history.
