2019: Houston Astros 2B Jose Altuve hit a series-clinching walk-off HR in Game 6 of the ALCS off Yankees CP Aroldis Chapman to send the Houston Astros to their 2nd World Series in 3 years in what was the 5th pennant-winning HR ever. LeMahieu hit a 2-run game-tying shot in the top of the inning to keep NYY’s season alive (only temporarily). The loss made the 2010s the 1st decade in 100 years that New York didn’t win a single pennant

2019: Toronto Raptors signed PF Pascal Siakam to a 4y/$130M extension right before the season started to defend their 2019 NBA Championship

2014: Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning passed Brett Favre for the most career PASS TD (509) of all-time in NFL history
