October 28th, 2021 was highlighted by a Thursday Night thriller in Arizona as Aaron Rodgers led a depleted Green Bay team without any starting WRs over the Cardinals as CB Rasul Douglas (filling in for an injured Jaire Alexander) came up with the game-sealing INT in the end zone, due to a miscommunication with AJ Green, that sealed the Packers win and ended ARZ’s undefeated season (now 7-1). The San Diego Padres surprisingly hired Bob Melvin as the new Manager with no compensation going to Oakland.

The Warriors and Bulls saw their undefeated starts to the season come to an end as Ja Morant out-dueled Steph Curry in the Bay and D-Rose came back to his hometown of Chicago with the Knicks and left with the win. Bradley Beal threw down a thunderous dunk as he leads DC to an impressive 4-1 start while Rays CP Nick Anderson and Saints starting LG Andrus Peat both announced significant injuries that will keep them out for a long time.

See what happened in sports on October 28th last year, headlined by Daryl Morey joining the 76ers as Philadelphia’s new General Manager, Morey’s old team in Houston hiring their new HC Stephen Silas, and the Seattle Seahawks acquiring EDGE Carlos Dunlap, as well as what happened in sports on October 28th, 2019 ft.
