With Milwaukee Brewers fans celebrating Paul Molitor for his 66th birthday on August 22nd, 2022, it’s a great time to look at the top 5 greatest Milwaukee Brewers players of all time with him highlighting the list.

Despite being one of six MLB teams that have never won a World Series, the Milwaukee Brewers have seen plenty of talented players travel throughout their organization. Since drafting Robin Yount in the 1974 MLB Draft, the Brewers have had their ups and downs, but have been an exciting team to watch more often than not. In 1998, the Brewers moved from the American League to the National League, where they found more success as they only made the Playoffs two times during their 30 years in the AL.

The 2010s were a good run for Milwaukee, as they made the playoffs in 5 different years, but unfortunately did not bring home any World Series championships. The people of Milwaukee are some of the best fans in the country, and the organization is dedicated to bringing a Championship home as soon as possible. Even though they haven’t had any success in the Fall Classic yet, the organization has had plenty of exciting players to watch since its establishment in 1969.

Milwaukee has had four players who have won MVPs: Rollie Fingers, Robin Yount, Ryan Braun, and Christian Yelich. They have also had three players win the Cy Young Award: Rollie Fingers, Pete Vuckovich, and Corbin Burnes. They have always had some of the MLB’s best players who have been recognized with individual accolades and helped the team reach success as well. Honorable mentions includes: SP Ben Sheets, OF Geoff Jenkins, OF Christian Yelich, 1B Richie Sexson, and SP Yovani Gallardo.
