Originally drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the second round of the 2008 NFL draft, Tracy Porter started in all five games he played his rookie year. As a NFL sophomore in 2009, Porter recorded four interceptions and 58 tackles, finding a home in New Orleans’ defense. That postseason, Porter made the interception of his life against Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl, and brought it home for six to give the Saints a two TD lead late in the fourth, sealing the first and only Championship in Saints history.

Not only does Tracy Porter have the biggest play in Saints franchise history, he is also the one who sent them there the week prior against the Vikings. Late in the fourth, Porter picked-off HOF QB Brett Favre in the NFC Championship, forcing the game to go to OT. The Saints prevailed and the rest is history. Tracy Porter has two of the biggest plays in Saints franchise history, intercepting passes from two HOF QBs when it mattered most, and for that he will always be remembered as a New Orleans legend.
