Gold Glove awards are highly regarded in MLB circles. In 2021, the St. Louis Cardinals made history as they continue to lead all franchises in outstanding fielding awards. Alongside the Cardinals propensity to accumulate Gold Gloves, Yuli Gurriel added his name to the record books by claiming this year’s GG at first base.
