January 29, 2022 marks the 86-year anniversary of Babe Ruth’s induction into the first HOF class so it’s a great time to look at the MLB’s top-5 greatest players of all time with him topping the list.



There have been innumerable players who have risen through the ranks of the MLB trying to assert their dominance and establish themselves as true contenders for this list. Players every year work to show off their abilities as one of the best in the league, but only so many will cement their names in history and truly go down as one of the greatest of all time. Honorable mention includes: OF Ken Griffey Jr., OF Ted Williams, 1B Lou Gehrig, and SP Nolan Ryan
