The Astros staved off elimination in Atlanta on Sunday night, beating the Braves 9-5 and setting records in the process. Zack Greinke became the first pitcher to get a hit while pinch-hitting in the playoffs since 1923, when he poked one into right field in the fourth inning. It could be the last hit ever recorded by a pitcher if MLB adopts the universal DH during the offseason. Houston lives to fight another day, and gets the opportunity to return home, as the series resumes on Tuesday at Minute Maid Park.
