Chris Taylor has come up clutch before in the MLB postseason for the Los Angeles Dodgers and his success continued in Game 5 of the 2021 NLCS. Taylor hit three Home Runs against a steady Atlanta Braves pitching staff. The clutch hybrid-utility player has come up time and time again for the Dodgers, including a walk-off Home Run against the St. Louis Cardinals that led the Dodgers to the ALDS.
The Dodgers have had a memorable 2021 postseason that has included electric performances by Taylor, a game-ending error from Corey Seager, and Cody Bellinger further cementing himself as a Dodgers legend. Chris Taylor, while not the most spectacular player on the field, has consistently showed up in clutch moments, is one of the best players on the Dodgers, and one of the most underrated hitters in the game.
