It was panic time in LA after the Dodgers lost the first two games to Atlanta in the 2021 NLCS. In Game 3, the Dodgers were down three runs in the bottom of the 8th inning with an insurmountable 3-0 series deficit seeming inevitable until Cody Bellinger struck with a monstrous three-run Home Run. Belli has a history of showing up in the NLCS. Cody Bellinger is already postseason great and becoming one of the biggest Dodgers legends ever.
The Dodgers hoped that Chris Taylor‘s walk-off Home Run in the Wild Card Game was not in vain. Meanwhile, Corey Seager’s fielding mistake in NLCS Game 2 threatened the Dodgers’ hopes of advancing, but Cody Bellinger stepped up when it mattered most and has given this team life again. Bellinger continues to forget his woeful 2021 MLB regular season and is playing like the former All-Star caliber player of his past as he still has one of the best launch angles and bat speed in the sport.
