Here is the best from August 9, 2019:

The New York Mets are the hottest team in baseball after collecting their 13th win in 14 games and did so in dramatic fashion on Friday night. From a 3-run deficit to a 9th-inning avalanche that defied the odds.

The Dodgers shut the D-Backs out all game, and put in their best relief pitcher to finish the job. Instead, Carson Kelly stepped up for the snakes and tied the game in the 9th. Then in extra innings, he delivered the dagger to put the D-Backs up for good.

The Minnesota Twins have been setting Home Run records all season, and Friday Night was no different as the 2019 Twins have cemented their names in the Minnesota record books forever, with 47 games to spare!

Stephen Strasburg was the 1st No.1 overall pick in franchise history and has officially lived up to the billing with the all-time strikeout record in Nationals/Expos history.

From 11.5 GB a couple months ago to now tying the Twins atop the AL Central, the Indians have the best record in the MLB since June 1.

The Brewers are in the midst of an EXTREMELY close NL Wild Card battle, and are only 2.5 GB from the Cubs in the Central. Every win counts the same, but this one felt a little special thanks to Thames late-game fireworks.

James Washington and Devin Bush are 2 unproven players that Steelers fans are very eager to watch this season. They both showcased why they could fill big roles this year in preseason Game #1.
