After leading ANOTHER double-digit comeback victory in his young career against the Cleveland Browns, Patrick Mahomes put his name in the record books once again. The KC Cannon has now recorded the most PASS YDS (14,489) & the most PASS TD (117) through a player’s 1st 50 GS, and he’s only started 47 regular-season games so far so he has three more games to add to his records. The Kansas City Chiefs drafted Mahomes out of Texas Tech 10th overall, trading up from the 27th pick despite having Alex Smith on their roster who made the Pro Bowl the next season.
The Texas gunslinger has exceeded all expectations since then and is universally viewed as the best QB in the NFL despite only being 25 years old (he turns 26 in a few days). With an abundance of records, a Super Bowl MVP trophy, regular-season MVP award, All-Pro, and Pro Bowls, along with other accolades collected already, it’s clear this is the best QB this early in a player’s career ever. Expect the ‘FRANCH15E’ to continue breaking records as he leads the Chiefs to more Super Bowls in his young career.
