The Houston Texans updated Team Outlook after the team traded WR Brandin Cooks and extended LT Laremy Tunsil. To acquire Cooks, the Dallas Cowboys gave up a 2023 fifth-round (161) draft pick and a 2024 sixth-round pick. Houston is covering $6M of Cooks’ $18M salary in 2023. With Tunil’s three-year, $75M extension, the 28-year-old becomes the highest-paid OL in the NFL. Tunsil’s deal includes a $30M signing bonus with $50M fully guaranteed and $60M in total guarantees.
