Lions Updated Outlook: Vaitai Agrees to Remove 2024 - Pro Sports Outlook

The Detroit Lions updated Team Outlook after renegotiating OG Halapoulivaati Vaitai’s contract and freeing up over $7M in salary cap space. Vaitai’s new contract costs the team just $3M in base salary, while the 2024 season will be a void year. The 29-year-old missed the entire 2022 season after suffering a back injury in preseason.
