The Tampa Bay Buccaneers improved to 4-1 over the weekend, as they thrashed the Miami Dolphins 45-17. Their remarkable performance helped break a number of records in Tampa Bay. One of the Bucs’ key contributors on offense was WR Antonio Brown who is on pace to break Jerry Rice’s all-time Receptions record. The former sixth round pick caught seven passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns, becoming the fastest player in NFL history to reach 900 career receptions.

Antonio Brown has long been considered an extremely talented wide receiver, but past slip-ups off the field often outshined any achievements on the pitch. From feuds with his quarterbacks to the whole helmet saga and many personal conduct scandals, AB’s antics distracted from his capabilities as often as possible, even causing him to be out of the league for a brief period of time.

However, since arriving in Tampa, Antonio Brown has once again demonstrated his worth as a top-tier Wide Receiver in the NFL. Breaking the record for being the fastest player to reach 900 receptions shows just how lethal he can be and how great he’s been throughout his career. Indeed, as Antonio Brown continues to produce positive performances in Tampa Bay, it has become ever more apparent that he may go down as one of the greatest wide receivers of all-time.
