With fans being welcomed at an NFL stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada for the first time, there was plenty of hype surrounding this Monday Night Football game before it even kicked off. What followed was an all-time classic that featured multiple lead changes and turnovers in the clutch with a memorable finish in overtime that resulted in the Raiders being 1-0 and the Ravens starting the season 0-1 despite Lamar Jackson’s impressive performance.

LAS VEGAS WELCOMED NFL FANS FOR THE 1ST TIME IN THE MOST VEGAS WAY EVER

COLORS KEY | FULL RAIDERS OUTLOOK

What a game! The first Monday Night Football game of the 2021 season was one for the books. The Ravens took an early 14-0 lead which usually meant they would cruise to victory (previously 81-0 under John Harbaugh in the regular season). However, the Raiders punched back in front of their home fans for the first time since moving from Oakland, CA. Without any fans in the building during 2020, the Raiders made their debut in Vegas, going 2-6 at home while finishing 6-2 on the road.

Some fans in Nevada were watching football for the first time ever, and they saw one of the most exciting games possible. With bettors around the world paying close attention to every player prop, over/under, spread, money line, etc. this game came down to the wire in almost all facets. There were TD’s being called back despite players shaking hands and preparing for jersey swaps while Kickers drilled career-long Field Goals to send the game to OT. Las Vegas season ticket holders got their money’s worth already.
