Cowboys Updated Outlook: Ezekiel Elliott Released - Pro Sports Outlook

The Dallas Cowboys updated Team Outlook after releasing RB Ezekiel Elliot, whose 80 career touchdowns is the third most in team history. Elliot, 27, is designated as a post June-1 cut to save $10.1M in cap space. The three-time Pro Bowler has spent his entire seven-year career in Dallas, as the Cowboys selected him with the No. 4 pick in the 2016 draft. In 2022, Elliot posted a career-low 876 rushing yards, yet still scored 12 touchdowns.
