Deion Sanders was a part of the stacked 1989 draft class that also featured Troy Aikman and Barry Sanders. He was drafted fifth overall by the Falcons out of Florida St. As a rookie, Deion Sanders picked off five passes and forced two fumbles, while starting in 10 games. By the 1991 season, he made his first out of eight Pro Bowls, and the next season he made his first out of six All-Pro teams including 1994 where he won DPOY and won his first Super Bowl with the 49ers in his only year there. DEION SANDERS IS THE GREATEST NFL CORNERBACK TO EVER PLAY THE GAME

No cornerback has ever been able to do what Deion Sander has done, especially his 1994 season where he returned three interceptions for touchdowns, which helped lead the 49ers to the Super Bowl. He led the NFL in non-offensive touchdowns in 1990, 1991, and 1998. In 1994, he was third in MVP voting but lost to his teammate, Steve Young while still taking home DPOY honors.

During his phenomenal NFL career, he played baseball at the MLB level as well and became the only player to play in a Super Bowl and a World Series. “Primetime” was known for his flare that accentuated his talent on the football field and made his legendary return skills on special teams and from interceptions even more special. He was a lockdown cornerback and a natural playmaker that will go down as one of the most talented athletes ever and the greatest NFL cornerback to ever play the game.
