Falcons Updated Outlook: Ryan Nielsen Hired as DC - Pro Sports Outlook

The Atlanta Falcons updated Team Outlook after hiring Ryan Nielsen from division rivals New Orleans Saints as their new DC. Nielsen replaces Dean Pees in Atlanta, who was the league’s oldest coordinator last season at 73. Since hiring Nielsen in 2017, the Saints’ defense ranked second in the NFL in sacks and top four in rushing yards four times.
