Freddie Freeman is unquestionably the greatest First Baseman in Atlanta Braves history as he continues to add to his all-time Braves legacy. Freeman is now the first player with a go-ahead Home Run in the eighth inning or later during a series-clinching win in franchise history. The 2020 NL MVP looks to continue his sparkling postseason in the NLCS whether that be against the best Giants team in franchise history or the 106 win Dodgers.

Freddie Freeman has his share of legendary moments with the Atlanta Braves, which continued during 2021 NLDS Game 4. Freeman hit a clutch Home Run that sent the Braves to their second consecutive NLCS and the first go-ahead Home Run in the eighth inning or later of a series-clinching win in franchise history. Freddie Freeman is the best Atlanta Braves’ First Baseman ever and could become an all-time great if he re-signs this offseason.

For the free agent to-be, this has been another terrific season to add to his resume. Freeman is the de facto clubhouse leader and will be remembered in Atlanta history no matter how deep the Braves go in the playoffs. Even though he may leave the team at the end of the season, Freddie Freeman has had a remarkable tenure as an Atlanta Braves star that surely deserves a spot on the team’s all-time nine-man lineup as the only Braves 1B to win MVP.
