IT TOOK THE BEST GAME OF LAMAR JACKSON’S CAREER TO BEAT PATRICK MAHOMES
COLORS KEY | FULL RAVENS OUTLOOK
It seems crazy to consider a former NFL MVP QB’s best career game one that included two interceptions, but Lamar Jackson’s second-half showing and ability to lead the Ravens over the vaunted Chiefs solidifies this historic performance as his best career game to this point considering the magnitude. It looked like it could’ve been the complete opposite after a miserable first drive that went from an overthrown 70-yd TD to an INT-TD within one play. Tyrann Mathieu then picked off Jackson once again.
Despite the first half adversity, Lamar came out firing in the second half. His jump throw TD was something fans have only seen Patrick Mahomes do before. That huge play sparked the comeback victory that was capped off with some clutch conversions on 3rd down and Lamar sealing the deal with his legs on 4th & 1. On the bright side for Chiefs fans, it took ALL THIS to beat Mahomes AT HOME. A rare September INT, rookies making big plays including a huge FF, and Lamar playing the best game of his NFL life.
